Business Development Manager

We are looking for a motivated, passionate sales professional with a deep understanding of the ICT sales within an MSP environment.

You will join a leading national technology solutions provider and take ownership of a diverse portfolio, from secure data management to large-scale IT deployments. This is a permanent opportunity for a "hunter" who excels in the Enterprise and Government sectors.

  • Location: North Shore Based
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 1 - 2 days in the office with flexible working hours
  • OTE: $150k-220k

The Organisation

You will be part of a highly professional, experienced, self managed national sales team that empowers employees to take ownership and deliver seamless experiences for global and local customers.

The Role

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will drive revenue by selling comprehensive IT asset lifecycle services from deployment to sustainable disposal. You will utilize your deep industry network to target new enterprise customers while expanding service offerings within new and existing client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute sales strategies to promote IT asset services.
  • Identify and Target new business opportunities across Government, Healthcare, and Financial Services sectors.
  • Manage End-to-End Relationships, ensuring high NPS through periodic account reviews and service excellence.
  • Lead Tender Responses and collaborate with technical teams to design bespoke managed service solutions.
  • Partner with IT Vendors to support large-scale deployment and redundant equipment disposal.

Skills & Experience:

We are looking for a results-oriented professional with a "Day 1" mentality and a proven track record in the ITAD or MSP industry.

  • Valid NZ Work Rights. Based in Auckland.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex sales processes for Enterprise and Government clients.
  • Deep understanding of ICT sales OR IT Asset Management.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with IT equipment vendors, financial institutions, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage master agreements and commercial structures.
  • Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
